Update to the Coronavirus/Covid-19 ‘At Risk’ Patients Utility– England only 15/4/2020

As directed by NHS Digital, any entries created by the utility run on your patient register on the 23rd March to highlight patients in the ‘at risk’ category for developing complications from Covid-19 infection, will in the next few days:

  • Have that Medical History entry updated from a priority 3 to a priority 1 ensuring the entry is updated to the patient’s Summary Care Record without further interaction from yourselves. See SCR in Consultation Manager for further details.
  • Have a reason for inclusion added to any existing Comments:
  • Where a reason for inclusion exists – ‘Central analysis of NHS Data has indicated the patient may have these risks:…’ and the reason(s) for inclusion listed
  • Where a reason for inclusion is not included in the download from NHS Digital - Central analysis of NHS Data has indicated the patient may be at high risk’

Any patients that newly qualify for the ‘at risk’ category and that are included in the latest download from NHS Digital, will have a Medical History entry added to their record to reflect this:
