Setting up a Prescription Printer within Vision
If you require your workstation to be able to print prescriptions, you first need to set up a prescription printer within Vision.
- Log into Vision.
- From the Home Screen select Options at the top menu and followed by Setup.
The Printer Profiles view displays. - Select Prescriptions, followed by Add.
- Select OK.
The Add Printer Profile view displays. - Select the drop-down next to Available Printers, and select the appropriate prescription printer.
- Select the Advanced>> button on the lower right corner of the view.
- The Paper Source drop-down identifies the tray location of the prescriptions,
Select Tray 1 or Tray 2 as appropriate. - Select the Print Test Page button, to confirm the printer is correctly set up.
- Select Save in the top right corner of the view.
The Vision Printer Profiles view displays, and the printer profile now says "My Prescription Settings". - Select Apply to update, followed by OK to close.
Note - If Consultation Manager was open while adding this printer, you need to close down the module and reopen it, to refresh the settings.
