Reset a Vision 3 Password

A staff member with System Manager rights can reset the password for a member of staff.

  1. From the Vision main menu, select the  Management Tools tab, followed by Control Panel.

    Vision Control Panel displays,
  2. From the lower left corner, select Security.

    The view refreshes and a list of users displays.
  3. Find the Staff member in the list, and right click on the name.
  4. From the menu, choose Reset Password.
  5. Enter the New Password, and then confirm.

    We recommend  use of strong passwords, at least 8 characters with a capital letter and a number
  6. Select OK to finish.
    This Function can also be used to reset Passwords for V360 and Vision Anywhere, as these changes are updated .
