Resetting a Vision 3 Password

Pre - Enhanced Security being enabled, a staff member with System Administrator rights can reset the password for a member of staff:

  1. From the Vision 3 Front screen, select Management ToolsControl Panel - File Maintenance.
  2. From the lower left corner, select Security MT - CP - Security.
  3. Find the staff member in the available list and right click on their name.
  4. From the menu, select Reset Password.
  5. Enter a new password and then enter it again to confirm it.
  6. Select OK to finish.

Note - The first time the user logs in they are prompted to set a new password and this one expires.

This Function can also be used to reset passwords for Vision360 and Vision Anywhere, as password updates are passed through to linked systems.
