** Unexpected Numeric Value found:

For some test results, Vision may not handle all numeric values in the correct way. Where this occurs the result will be presented in Vision Consultation Manager as a textual note, whereby the result is preceded by the text ‘** Unexpected Numeric Value found:’. This preceding text does not infer any clinical interpretation of the result and does not mean that the result should be interpreted as being abnormal. 

The text presented after the textual note ‘** Unexpected Numeric Value found:’ should be used to inform any clinical decision in relation to a patient’s care. This includes the ‘Original Result’ of the test.
